# Fanatics Markets

> Fanatics Markets is a US, CFTC-regulated prediction market where you can trade event contracts on the outcomes of real-world events across sports, crypto, politics, culture, the economy, and companies. Prices move in real time and reflect the market's forecast probability of each outcome.

Fanatics Markets lists event contracts — not bets. Each contract pays $1 if your prediction is correct and $0 if it is not; the price of a contract (0–100¢) reflects the market's implied probability of that outcome. Trading involves risk. Must be 21+, a US resident, and located in an eligible state.

## How it works
- A market asks a yes/no question about a real-world outcome (e.g. which team wins a game).
- You trade contracts priced 0–100¢; the price is the market's implied probability.
- A correct prediction settles at $1 per contract; an incorrect one at $0.
- Markets settle when the event concludes and the result is determined.
