Every price above is the market's implied probability as of October 15 at 10:46 AM ET. Ranks are from the AP Top 25 released October 11. Several two-sided pairs sum to a point or two above 100%, which is the normal spread between the two sides of a market.
No. 4 Ohio State at No. 5 Indiana
Ohio State is the market's implied favorite at 62%, with Indiana at 38%, a narrow split. Kickoff is 12:00 PM ET on Saturday, October 17 at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington, Indiana.
Why it matters
Indiana has won all five of its last five and conceded 11.0 points per game across them, including a 20-17 win at Nebraska on October 10. Ohio State is 4-1 over that span, its only loss a 23-24 result at Texas on September 12, and it beat Maryland 45-16 on October 10. The October 11 AP poll has them at No. 4 and No. 5, so the result moves the Big Ten race either way.
The numbers
Ohio State averages 337.8 passing yards per game this season and allows 150.7. Indiana averages 221.3 rushing yards per game and allows 75.0. Ohio State's volume comes through the air, Indiana's on the ground, and each defense is strongest exactly where the other offense is least reliant.
What the market says
The 62/38 split leaves 24 points between the two sides. In our read, that price weighs Ohio State's 40.0 points per game over its last five against Indiana's unbeaten run and lands nearer the Buckeyes without settling it.

No. 2 Notre Dame at No. 8 BYU
Notre Dame is the market's implied favorite at 79%, with BYU at 22%, a clear favorite. Kickoff is 7:30 PM ET on Saturday, October 17 at LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo, Utah.
Why it matters
Notre Dame and BYU have each won all five of their last five games. Notre Dame beat Stanford 58-7 on October 10; BYU beat Iowa State 24-10 the same day, after a 17-10 win at TCU on October 3.
The numbers
Notre Dame allows 58.3 rushing yards and 155.7 passing yards per game this season and has scored 44.6 points per game over its last five. BYU converts 54.4% on third down and averages 223.8 rushing yards per game. Reading that gap, BYU's most productive method this season runs straight into the one thing Notre Dame has surrendered least.
What the market says
A 22% price on an unbeaten home team is the market calling BYU live without calling it favored. Notre Dame has conceded 10.6 points per game over its last five and BYU 13.4, a 2.8-point difference.

New to event contracts?
A price is the market's implied probability of an outcome, quoted from 0 to 100 cents. A contract priced at 56 cents implies about a 56% chance. If the outcome happens, the contract pays $1. If it does not, the contract pays nothing and you lose the 56 cents you paid. Fanatics Markets provides a place where you can trade event contracts on real-world outcomes.
